
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By accepting a quote and making a booking, the customer agrees to be bound the following terms and conditions of Range Domestic Services ltd.
Below you can read about the terms and conditions that apply when you book our professional cleaning services.
Regular Domestic Cleaning
* Minimum duration 2 hours per cleaning visit applies for all domestic cleaning services.
Carpet/upholstery Cleaning
* Carpet and upholstery cleaning will not improve the performance of the carpet/upholstery.
* We cannot guarantee full removal of stains in carpet or upholstery.
* Furniture will be required to be moved by the customer prior to clean.
Equipment
* Range Domestic Services will provide all cleaning supplies and carpet cleaning equipment required to provide the cleaning services.
* Any cleaning equipment provided by the customer should be safe and in full working order.
* The customer must provide running hot water and electricity at the premises where the cleaning services take place.
Quotations
* All quotations are given by Range Domestic Services following a request by the customer and will remain open to acceptance for a period of 30 days from their date.
* We reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should the customers original requirements change.
Payments
* Payment for regular cleaning, the customer shall arrange a recurring card payment or standing order.
* Payment can be made with debit or credit card and bank transfer.
* Invoices will be sent at the end of each month and will include any outstanding payments, these must be paid within 30 days of invoice date.
* Payment for after build clean/carpet and upholstery cleans/end of tenancy cleans, these will be invoiced at the end of the month and these must be paid within 30 days of invoice date.
Cancellations
* Customer may cancel or adjust the time of a cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours advanced notice.
* Customer agrees to pay the full price of a cleaning visit if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
* If a customer needs to change the cleaning service or time, Range Domestic Services will do its best to accommodate.
* Customer may terminate the cleaning service by giving 4 weeks (28 days) advanced notice in writing and specifying the last cleaning date.
Insurance
* Range Domestic Services has public liability insurance of £2m. The policy will cover any accidental damages caused by Range Domestic Services, reported within 24 hours of service date.
Customer Satisfaction
* If the customer is not completely satisfied with the cleaning job, Range Domestic Services will re-clean any areas and items to customers satisfaction. Therefore, customer must allow cleaner to be returned.
Liability
* Range Domestic Services reserves the right not to be liable for:
Existing damage to customers property in the form of old stains/burns/spillages etc. Which cannot be cleaned/removed completely by the cleaners using the industry standard cleaning methods.
Any damages caused by a faulty or not in full working order detergents/equipment supplied by the customer.
Non satisfactory result from the cleaning services due to the customer or third party walking on wet floors or using appliances shortly after the cleaning process.
Please note that floors may be wet/slippery after clean.
Wear or discolouring of fabric becoming more visible once dirt has been removed.
Failing to remove old/permanent stains that cannot be removed using standard carpet cleaning methods.
* Any apparent damages will be noted.
Complaints and claims
* The customer accepts and understands that poor service, breakage/damage must be reported within 24 hours from the service date. Failure to do so will entitle the customer to no refunds or recovery cleans.
* In case of damage where liable Range Domestic services will repair the item at its cost. If the item cannot be repaired, Range Domestic Services will rectify the problem by crediting the customer with the items present cash value toward a like replacement.
* We will not be responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any item also old/worn out/damaged items. All surfaces (i.e. Marble, granite, wood etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.
* Complaints are accepted verbally or in writing.
Supplementary Terms
* The quotation excludes the clearing of debris left by tradesman or building work unless otherwise stated.
* Our cleaners are happy to move furniture. Due to Health and Safety regulations one cleaner will attempt to move only furniture that requires no more than one person.
* All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed.
* The customer should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.
* Range Domestic Services reserves the right to make changes to any part of these Terms and Conditions without giving any prior notice.
* Notice will be given to any cleans which Range Domestic Services will be unable to full fill due to holiday/bank holidays.
